Aspen Jewish Conversations

Join leading thinkers, teachers, and public voices as we explore Jewish identity, peoplehood, public life, and what comes next through evenings of reflection, conversation, and connection. All conversations start at 5:30 p.m. and will be held in Paepke Auditorium.

An evening of reflection, resilience, and hope, this conversation invites our community into one of the most urgent and human questions of our time: what comes next?  Through personal story, moral courage, and Jewish wisdom, Rachel Goldberg-Polin and Jon Polin will help us explore grief, responsibility, and the possibilities that emerge even in uncertainty.

Alex Edelman, comedian and writer

What does it mean to live visibly and authentically as a Jew in today’s public square? This timely conversation brings together public voices navigating the intersections of identity, responsibility, and public life, offering insight into how Jewish values and personal conviction shape the choices we make when the spotlight is on.

Rabbi Sharon Brous, Senior Rabbi of IKAR

Eric Cohen, CEO of Tikva Fund

As America approaches 250 years, this conversation looks at the enduring relationship between Jewish life and the American experiment. Through historical reflection and contemporary insight, speakers will explore how Jewish tradition and democratic ideals have shaped one another—and what that long story asks of us now.
