Services are open for all. For non-members we ask that a guest registration form be submitted.
 

Memorial Book

Both digital and printed versions of the our Yizkor Memorial Book 2023/5784 will be available.

Children’s Services

Family Services
Elementary-aged children and their families are invited to a service led by Rabbi Sima Oster & Cantor Ken Aronowitz. Listen to the shofar and sing many of the high holiday greatest hits, many of which Hebrew school students will have learned in school.
 
Tot Services
Preschool-aged children and their families will dance and celebrate with Rabbi Sima, Rabbi Shira, Cantor Ken, and other musicians. They will sound the Shofar, eat apples and honey, and take home Jewish-values-based family goodie bags. 
 
Yizkor Memory Walk
Children who lost a loved one (and their family members) will support each other as they remember those they have lost. Led by Rabbi Sima with support from Mind Springs and Pathfinders.
 

All-Ages Services

Mikvah 
Before the high holidays, some Jews immerse in the Mikvah (the ritual bath) as a physical embodiment of what we are attempting to achieve spiritually this time of year. As each individual immerses privately, the rest of the group will discuss the concept of “rebirth” and “recreation” in Judaism and in our own lives. Bring a towel.
 
Rosh Hashanah All-Ages Services
Joy. Possibility. Connectedness. Our Rosh Hashanah services will attempt to capture each of these emotions. Led by Rabbi Shira Stutman and Cantor Ken Aronowitz plus three extraordinary musicians, many of whom play with AJC all year.
 
Erev Rosh Hashanah
Led by Rabbi Shira and Cantor Ken Aronowitz with musical accompaniment by David Dyer and musicians. 
 
Rosh Hashanah Morning day 1
Including Shofar and concluding with Tashlich. 
 
Rosh Hashanah Morning day 2
Informal. Personal. Song-filled. Continue celebrating the New Year with our one-hour, outdoor second-day service featuring our rabbis, musicians and Rabbi Kolby Morris-Dahray. Followed by lunch. 
 
Yom Kippur All-Ages Services
Right-setting. Memory. Growthfulness. Our Yom Kippur services, led by Rabbi Shira, Cantor Ken, a pianist and a string quartet, aims to transport you to Yom Kippurs past and turn you towards a more healed future.
 
Kol Nidre
Led by Rabbi Shira and Cantor Ken Aronowitz with musical accompaniment by  David Dyer and our sting quintent. 
 
Yom Kippur Morning
Led by Rabbi Shira and Cantor Ken Aronowitz. Morning Yom Kippur service will be followed by Yizkor services. 
 
Neilah
The gates are closing, but you do not have to be alone. Bring Yom Kippur to a close in a relaxed, soulful, song-filled community. Break fast dinner to follow.
