FreeMen’s Retreat: What Does It Mean to Be a Jewish Man Today?
This winter, AJC is bringing men of all ages together for a three-session, small-group learning and conversation series co-led by Daniel Lebowitz and Rabbi Shira. Gathering over three Thursday evenings in Basalt, we’ll explore what it means to be a Jewish man today through short Jewish texts, teaching, and guided conversation.
Each session will focus on a different theme:
- January 15 – Judaism & Masculinity: Strong, Soft, and Everything In Between
- January 22 – Self-Discipline & Indulgence: From Hedonism to Holiness
- January 29 – Responsibility & Service: What It Means to “Mensch Up”
This retreat is designed as an intimate, multigenerational experience to support meaningful conversation and relationship-building, and participants must be able to attend all three sessions.
RSVP below, address will be provided following submission. For questions, please email Rabbi Shira.
