Shabbat

All are welcome

Come as you are - Shabbat casual

Senior Rabbi Shira Stutman and our davening team lead uplifting, accessible Shabbat services that blend Hebrew and English, prayer and song, tradition and innovation. Whether it’s your first service or your hundredth, you’ll leave with a renewed sense of connection and a deeper appreciation of the Torah’s timeless wisdom, which is just as relevant today as it was 3,000 years ago.

Our professional music team brings heart and harmony to each service, weaving together Middle Eastern, Western European, and contemporary Jewish melodies, always infused with joy.

Shabbat Evenings

Most Friday evenings, we welcome Shabbat at 6 pm indoors at the Aspen Chapel or outside in the chapel garden, surrounded by mountains. At least once a month, we hold Friday services in Carbondale or at Camp Bashert along the Roaring Fork River near Glenwood Springs.

During the summer, we gather on select Saturday mornings for Shabbat atop Ajax Mountain. In winter, we hold occasional Shabbat services on Buttermilk Mountain.

All of our Shabbat services are kid-friendly. We also offer Shabbat Sings, a monthly service geared toward tots and their families, led by Rabbi Sima and musicians. Please check out our Young Families page to learn more.
