Yom Kippur

 
 
Kol Nidre Musical Meditation 
 
Sunday, September 27, 7:30pm Paepcke Auditorium & Streamed
Experience the spirituality of Kol Nidre as you never have before. This service will be free of spoken or sung words, filled entirely with the music of piano and string quintet. Allow the music to wash over you and enter your heart. This service is open to in-person attendance and will also be live streamed to enjoy from home. (Pre-registration necessary; strict social distancing and masks required.)
 
Yom Kippur Morning Service

Enjoy the familiar and beloved songs and prayers of Yom Kippur morning service, complete with Torah reading and a brief sermon. In order to maximize the experience, our streamed morning service will be shorter than our typical in-person service and has been pre-recorded. Should you wish, you will be able to view the service in its entirety after the live stream is over. NOTE: Registration is not required for this service.
 
Yom Kippur Yizkor Service

We keenly feel the loss of our dear ones at this time of the Jewish year. Our Yizkor (memorial) service will provide a special space in time and in our hearts to remember our loved ones. This service has been has been pre-recorded. NOTE: Registration is not required for this service.

Join Rabbi Segal, Sima Oster, and your friends from the AJC for a Yom Kippur service perfect for families with little ones through elementary years. We will mark the holiday together with songs and a story, followed by a meaningful activity. (Pre-registration necessary; strict social distancing and masks required.)
 
Taste of Neilah & Havdallah

As we near the end of Yom Kippur, we will join together in the spiritual crescendo of selected Neilah (concluding) prayers and Havdalah, concluding the holiday together through the senses.

What would Yom Kippur be without a chance to finally relax and nosh together? Bring your AJC community to your table on zoom while you eat your post-Yom Kippur dinner (bagel or otherwise) and kibbitz with your friends from the AJC.
